As the proud municipal bank of Amsterdam, we have committed to the obligation of Social Return. We are involved in various impactful initiatives in the city that align with the ambition of the Bureau Social Return.
We are keen to invest in The Enrichment. A program that provides training and skills to highly vulnerable young people and guides them in taking the first step towards employment. These are young people from ROC TOP Plus schools. They undergo a learning trajectory covering entrepreneurship, finance, resilience training, communication, presentation, job application training, and media training. This broadens their horizons and allows them to discover their talents. They meet new people and devise and execute community projects. We financially support their initiatives and oSer valuable workshops.
Financial Support: We understand that financial resources are crucial for the success of social projects. Therefore, we aim to provide stable financial support amounting to €40,000 per year for 3 years. This will enable the foundation to grow from 80 young people currently to 240 young people in 2026. Our contribution enables them to continue their mission, reach more young people, and provide more insight into the value of education and/or employment.
Workshops: In addition to financial support, we also believe in sharing knowledge and inspiration. Therefore, we oSer workshops ranging from professional development to practical skills. Examples include personal finance or inspirational talks about working at the bank. We aim to help them grow, become more confident, motivated, and disciplined in pursuing education or employment, thereby improving their financial wellbeing. Â
