CoForceAcitive renters and VvE mobilizing the communities of Venserpolder.
EC Laura Monathen, realized various information session for her neighborhood, about what people could do by themselves. She has EC from the start and her enthousiasm created many followers. Laura rents at a housing corporation, but her efforts to use the roofs for solar panels were in vain.
Together with EC Baudouin Knaapen from !Woon, the VvE's were informed about opportunities of the Energy Transition and actions for collective approach towards insulation and collective heat system en renewables. Various options were discussed and the difficult decisionmaking process with "gespikkeld bezit", meaning that the housing corporation sold-out appartments to new owners and/or investors created many new insights.
Later EC Wouter Methorst participated on behalf of CoForce in the LIFE project (Local Inclusive Future Energy platform). This projects aims to create a new digital twin grid system for bussinesses (like JCA) and neighborhood to find cooperative models to balance the grid, working closely together with stakeholders and residents sharing benifits of peakshavinig and local energy production.
Venserpolder has been study object for Living Energy Lab SouthEast for many students on social and behavior aspects of the energy transition, especially in a diverse cultural neighborhood with high energy poverty.
