To promote the Energy Transition the E-Truck, Karlos was enabled to the Energie Commissioners and making events in SouthEast energy friendly.
EC Dennie Armelita, initiated the idea to have an electrical truck to facilitate local events in SouthEast and create awareness for the Energy Transition as a communication tool for CoForce. Supported by a subsidy of the Municipality the Karlos could be aqcuired, an old RSV car that was trasformed with second hand car batteries and solar panels.
As CoForce does not has the ability to have assets as an initiative supporting entity, Moving Art Project was able to accomodate the Karlos in the KAREL's Caravan (family of 4 electric event supporting trucks). CoForce amd MAP signed an agreement that the Karlos would stay available for SouthEast whenever needed for a special rate.
Karlos has been succesfully deployed in many events supporting awareness campaigns and sustainable local events under the MAP supervision. Dennie was trained to be able to drive and operate the Karlos for SouthEast events.
