EC Johnson @ Groene Hub, launched a social initiative aiming to fund IR panelen by a collective action with provider ThermiQ. Special pricing was realized to get one small IR panel for free, that could be donated to people in need or doing special contribution to the community.
CoForce supported the start process of the campaing. During the first winter 10 panels were purchased and the Groene Hub could help 10 people with a free panel. The action is on the website of the Groene Hub
The learnings of the Groene Hub are important, IR-panelen can be very attractive for saving energy. It requires however behavior change and understanding to work with it. Effective use (not continuous) is essential understanding how one can reduce the cost with IR and also depending location and combination with the existing heat system.
